Help Rafi Robot defeat the baddies by using your inhaler and spacer correctly!
RAFI TONE 2 is an app designed to help make using an inhaler with a spacer easier and more fun for young children with wheeze or asthma symptoms.
The RAFI TONE 2 app is to be used only with a Pressurised Metered Dose type inhaler (pMDI), a spacer device and the Clement Clark International ‘whistle-tone mask’.
A whistle tone is emitted by the mask when correct breathing technique is used with no air leaks around the mask. When Rafi Robot hears the whistle he will defeat the baddies.
Developed by a parent and in collaboration with respiratory paediatricians in Manchester Royal Childrens Hospital.
No claim is made for any medical effect for RAFI TONE 2.
Some children might find it fun when they are first starting with the whistle mask.
